libgeis-dev software package provides Gesture engine interface support - dev files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeis-dev
libgeis-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeis-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeis-dev *
You will get with libgeis-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
